What’s everyone running??? I am thinking of getting a set of 31" TSL Boggers and steel rims just for pulling. I have mainly pulled on clay tracks and done very well with my stock tires. But the other day I pulled on a sandy track and got last out of some trucks that I had beat buy 10 feet before...

I'm running pro-comp x terrians, seems to work well. I wouldn't run tsl's they would be way too aggessive on the hard pack track. Alot of guys I see are running brand new bf all terrains or half wore down bf mud terrians.

Were the heck are you getting clay tracks in CA ??? I would like to see one !!!

Most the bigger trucks out West here run the boggers because they are all loose tracks, I have been runing them for two year now :)

Hollister, Los Banos, and Patterson (I know VTPA, Pulls) were hard pack clay tracks. I am still thinking towards Bogger even on the hard pack. I know it could just cause more Damage to the truck if it hooks up better. But I am stock height, sleeved tie rods, and I lower the bars when I pull

If you are running mostly on loose tracks, then yes a more aggressive tire would work. All the tracks i've every pulled on were hard as a rock by the end of the event, but this is in WI not CA.

i have always used bfg mudders, thats what everyone around here use to run till about 2-3 years ago. they used the bfg all-terrians to keep the rpm in the power band. this year everyone almost has something different. the bfg mudders will be much quiter on the road too!

I think I am also going to go with the tsl boggers. The track I mainly will be pulling at is really loose on top and a little moist and soft under the surface. I think I will use them on my stocker wheels I have laying around and maybe put some screws in them to keep them in place. I can't decide to get the 33" or the 35", which do you all think would be better for all out pulling? I don't care about noise or ride as I will only use them at the pulls. Also wonder how low of air you can run in them? :ro)

I would go with the 33's. It takes that much less power to turn them.

Check the rules, as many pulls do not allow certian types of tires. Like ground hawg type is often not allowed.

evey pull around here just requires DOT tires. Boggers are DOT I think Ground howgs are also but I'm not sure

That's also the way it is here in Wisconsin DOT approved.

I am wanting to get 265/75/16 BFG A/T or M/T to run on the street but also for pulling too. My stock tires did great on the hard packed tracks but on the loose tracks they sucked.

Would the A/T's be better for me?

thanks

A/t's will work awesome on harder tracks and good on loose tracks. Overall I think you will be just fine with a/t's

I run Goodyear MT-R's and am having good luck. The pulls I have been to this year are mostly local ones. I've finished 4,1,2,2,3,1 all were 8000# classes except one and it was 7000#.
