Hi Guys,
I've got an 07 classic with the LBZ and here in the midwest this winter my temp. gauge goes up to the first larger line and that is where it usually stays, is this normal or do others do this also.
I live in mid Indiana but I don't know if this has anything to do with this temp.
Thanks
LarryS

I dont think mine has ever been past the 1st larger mark in the past week, but it's been 40 or less here in Oklahoma for the past week. What kind of air temps are you driving in?

I suspect this is why I see trucks around with the radiator completely blocked off in the winter?

like all of the others mine does the same here in West Virginia....another thing that i noticed my buddy has edge juice with the attitude box it displays engine temp and it reads diff than the guage in the dash....most of the time it is higher on the edge than on the dash...

I drive yr round. In Temps ~10F or less I will have the winter front on..engine gets up to 186-190and bounces around there. With it off and in similar and colder temps, i have seen on my Banks a max 170F max for 3 hours straight driving..that was a real beotch of a night for cold temps...near -28F.
-28 would equate to about half way towards the first 1/4 mark on the dash gauge if that.
