hi all,

i have a 93 6.5 and after startup there is white smoke and a noticable miss. will start to clean up but then when revving it up it is a fogger. after driving it quits but under WOT throttle conditions it pours black smoke out. shut off for one minute and restart and white smoke when revving up again.

any help/ideas would be great

glow plugs will cause a start up miss. and the fogging/black smoke could be bad air filter, blocked intake, blown turbo, or leaking injectors.

Black smoke could also be bad vac system

the white smoke is def. fuel, and not glow plugs cause even when warmed up shut off for less than a minute then start up and white fog when revving up starts all over so not glow plugs

I'm leaning towards injectors then.

pump timing off too maybe?
