Hi guys,

Ok I just got my 05 c/c sb 4x4 and I love it! I just don't really care for the rake look. I've done some searching on this site and I haven't really found what I'm looking for. I want my truck to sit level but I don't want big tires. I think I want 265's.Will the 265's look to small with a leveling kit? I don't really want to go up any larger because I've only got 3.73 gears(only option available in 05:( thanks Gm). Does anyone have pics of 265's with a lev.kit? I know alot of people have cranked up their bars and been fine but I dunno. I'm sticking with stock rims also. Any info and pics would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks, Albie

Keep it stock will you? sure you will..):h I said the same thing....

For you first mod; a lot of guys just crank up the T/B's and get an alignment. Doing this will accomplish what you want to do but will stiffen the front end up more. Others change to Green keys (look it up) Others still, do it with Cognito (look it up under search, you will find pics and coments) or Rancho leveling kits. The kits would be the best way to go because instead of stiffening up your front end, you are changing the ride height with components.

As the world of high performance and biatchen' looks calls out to you, whether you succomb or abstain, enjoy your truck they are a lot of fun!

I'll be watching your posts to see what's next.....

Thanks biterman,

I will continue with the research. I know it sounds hard to believe but I want to stay as close to stock as I can. It seems that every time you try to get fancy something goes wrong. My brother put a lift on his IFS truck and ever since he's had problems with alignment(sp?) and tire wear. I realize not everyone has had these problems but i don't know if I want to take a chance yet. Also you do one mod and then you have to do another to compinsate for the first and so on. Kinda like a snowball effect.$$ starts to add up quick. I would like to get a programer though. Well if I did end up going with a bigger lift I would have to swap out the 3.73's and go with at least 4.10's. Any thanks again for your reply.

Personally, I would probably go with a leveling kit, but before I dropped what $500 min. on the kit. I would play with the t-bars a little to see what it did you would only be out your time.
