What is a reasonable price for the BFG All terrain

I called around and Costco gave me the cheapest price

$635 for 4 tires, mounting and balancing.

Oh yeah the size of the tires are 35's

Dude, $158 per tire for 35's in BFG AT is a great deal. For that price I'd pick up a spare too.

I'm going to have to pick up another set of 285-17 and they around $180/ea now.

I ordered them on Sat. They said it will take 3-5 business days to get here.

Should i keep the same rims, their Alcoa Rims

That's a great deal good choice, I paid $800 (4) for mine.

Alcoa's huh. How wide are they? I can't say I've seen Alcoa make a wide enough wheel for that size of tire.

The larger tires like 285s run about $200 or more (you cant find them at the moment), 165 a tire for stock size might actually be a decent price...

Burnin Mad Max the alcoas are 15's, I used to have 37x13x15, but the tires hit the wheel weld inside. So i went down a size 35x12.5x15

phatty, 35x12.5x15. I actually bought my tires, but i only got 4. It came out to $635

I asked him the same thing. Its a Dodge 1500. Think its a 95. Its his first vehicle.

I checked on the door panel and it was 16's. I guessed the guy who i bought it from must have changed it when he got the lift, but if you got a lift wouldnt you want to go bigger instead of smaller

The tire size - 15", 16", 17" - does not have to do with how tall or wide the tire is. It is the size of rim they will fit on. The tire is basically the same hight and width but as the size goes up there is less sidewall because the rim is larger. At least that's the way I think it works.

I guess an advantage to going to a smaller rim is that you have more sidewall so when you air down you get better flotation. I'd think this would be more for sand but the truck had mudders on it so maybe this helps in mud as well.

yeah, the 15" wheel seems to have way more tire sizes available than for the 16" wheels. i just figured you had a HD and was wondering how you got a 15" wheel around your brakes.
