went out to where i store my trailer today to install these new led taillights i got off ebay, wow what a difference and they look sweet. anyways, a few days ago we had some severe t-storms and some places got quarter size hail. well the whole left side of the trailer was one of those places. little dings everywhere down the side and on the chrome front corner. not much i can do about this, i think i will replace the chrome piece since its really noticable there. the trailer is white so you have to catch the light to see all the dents, got to be hundreds. enough ranting, this sucks!

That's what insurance is for! No way they can blame the claim on you and use it as an excuse to raise yor rates.

I believe by the time I got done with the insurance company I'd be putting "the fear of God" in them if they didn't fix it. :D But then again I never have liked insurance sompanies......seems like legalized crime to me :exactly:
Before my wife and I got married about 4 years ago, her family had hail damage to alot of stuff; house windows and carpet/funature (rain coming in the windows) , cars, tin shed, and above ground pool........insurance took care of it. So I'd check into it.
Good Luck.

My Tow vehicle insurance also covers my trailer in some cases, maybe to Hail damage? I also have a seperate policy on the coach, with comprehensive damage coverage, deductables of course.
It will depend a lot on your Agent.
IMHO.
Good Luck anyway it goes.

My experience with hail damage is my insurance was happy to pay up. A 33 fter was worth $3500 to fix, and minus the deduct, they paid it all.

Foremost is probably the best RV insurance company out there. They cover stuff an auto or house insurance company will not and the readily pay if you have a claim. I hate auto insurance, BUT I have enjoyed my experiences with Foremost.

Hail damaged mine three years ago, insurance covered the whole thing, $4500 worth of new siding entry side and front.
Good Luck.

I just have to tell you about my claim.... Lost the trailer to a BIG windstorm while coming home from vacation....
http://watkinscamper.blogspot.com/ and http://watkinstruck.blogspot.com/ has the pictures if you would like to look...
State Farm had the truck insurance,,,, Replaced the bed, hitch and toolbox. Dealer had it for 8 days no problems!
GMAC/Good Sam had the camper coverage.. Full replacement coverage for 5 years and after the 5 years they refund the full purchase price if its a total loss.
This camper was 3 months old... I called them on friday, posted the pictures on the blog for them to see and down load... Adjuster went to the yard on Thursday and I had a overnighted check on Saturday morning! Full purchase price for a 2006 Starwood and 3000 for items I lost in the accident! I can not imagine a company that takes care of anyone better than that!
