i had a 94 6.5 with a auto it was spitting and sputtering around 3000 rpm when you would hold it to the floor. then sometimes it would just die when you crank it up in the morning.i changed fuel filter and took it to the shop 3 times and it would not store any codes in the computer by one time it did. they said the code that came up was something like injector pulse something i don't know. i got tired of messing with it so i traded it inbut i was just quirouse if anybody has any idea what it was.

Likely Fuel Solenoid problem, Closure Time outta whack, means the pump can't meter fuel properly. Hard to say for sure on that one.

Good possibility there too, common for 94-95 models, impossible to say for sure.

maybe, but that means replacing the injection pump.
And you would also have to verify supply pump operation first.
Its hard to pinpoint with just the information you provided.

so i couldn't just change that piece out? if that is the case thank god i traded it in because i got tired of spending money on it. that would of been the 2 fuel pump on the truck and it only had 110000 miles.

The extended warranty is 120,000 miles, GM should have paid for it.

I had 123,000 on mine when it went and with one call to the GM help line, they took care of me with only a $200 deductible. The woman was very courteous (sp?) and went out of her way to help me even though I was out of warranty ):h

i brought it to a chevy shop and they kept giveing me a run around because the check engine light would not stay on so they couldn't be for sure. so i got tired of messing with them and brought it to shop where my friend works at .they findly thought it might be the pump.
