I just purchased a new set of these from a fellow DPer for my '02 but I need the wiring harness.
Anyone know the part number or have a service manual with a part #?

Also, do I need to have the dealer program my lights to work? I thought I read that somewhere.......:grd:

I can't help you on the wiring harness but if your truck didn't have the factory lights, then yes, you will have to have the dealer reprogram for the lights. I'm not sure why, but yeah.

Why not wire a new circuit and switch? Did you know that when toggle you hi beams that the factory fog lights turn off? I will probably redo mine.

Look under the bumper where foglights mount, you might already have the mounting holes there and you might also have the wiring there too. I did the same for my '03 2500hd and it came without foglight, I bought the factory foglights and it was already prewired from the factory. I still have the wiring harness, don't know if it's the same for the '02, frontend and foglights changed for '03.

It's has the holes but I didn't see any wires. Guess I'll take a better look behind the bumper before I shop.

Just trying to save a fellow member some frustration.

I am currently in the process of new-wiring and re-wiring of my clearance and fog lights. ;)

Rather than rewire, if you do a search on the ChevyTalk.org forum, you can find instructions for having all your headlights, fog lights and daytime running lights (up here in Canada) come on when you turn on your highbeams. It is easy to do for the cost of a few diodes from Radio Shack.

I wired mine in with a couple of switches so that I can go back to 'stock' easily.):h

I also have 100W high beams, 65W low beams and 65W fog lights which really light up the roads (and I never lose any headlight wars!). I feel that these are necessary here in Canada because of all the wildlife running around on our roads.

My wife has recently asked if I can do the same to her Pontiac Grand Prix!
