I just got a ballpark qoute from full throttle suspension for their 4-link coilover kit front and rear=$25,000.00 that includes custom built high pinion front axle, all the doo-dads for the steering, panhard bars, ect.... For you guys that already have the high pinion axle and just need a way to mount it the kit will also be available without the axle for a lesser price tag in about 6 weeks for 2500HD trucks. I have seen this kit on an H2 at SEMA in person and all I can say is "impressive". The majority of the kit will be bolt on but some bracketry will need to be welded to front and rear axle's. Just gotta wonder at that price tag, even without the axle it still might be less expensive to have a local off-road shop custom fab the stuff. I will keep you posted when I get a qoute without the axle.

Forgot to add, the kit uses King coilovers. For those who haven't been in a truck equipt with these, they are "The ****".

Agreed, I would bet 1/3 to 1/2 of that is the axle alone. They are a custom built high pinion dana 60. You choose ratio and amount of lift you want, they angle the pinion & outer C's for best driveline angle, install gears, locker, abs stuff, ect... truely custom for this application. That being said, I would take my chances with my high pinion kingpin 60 out of a 1979 f-350. Completely rebuilt, regeared and powder coated I will be in it 3k vs. 9k-12k.

Now assuming the axle was 1/2 the cost, consider this: The king coilovers are 600.00 ea. x4=$2400.00, crossover steering=$1000.00. I did not ask if hydraulic assist was included but even without that puts the cost of the 4-link system with panhard bars for front and rear around 9100.00, thats without subtracting for brake lines ect... That is slightly less than the 5k per axle I was qouted by a local 4WD shop for similar setup.

This is still double what I was lookin to pay for a leaf set up(about 6k w/springs & shocks) but the ride quality is 10x better with the coilovers. I dont think I will spend that much but nice to know there is a kit out there if I wanted to.

The axles are the cheap part.... The R&D that helped make the kit is what you are paying for. The price will go down when more companies start offering something similar. Always happens when you have the market cornered, you can charge whatever you want for your item and people will pay.. That is until someone in their garage takes your kit and reproduces it for half the cost and sells it on ebay then gets started and takes your market from you... Happens everyday and will happen here too...Way too much money and a waste of a very useful truck if you ask me....

You can get a custom hp 60 from Dynatrac for under 6 grand with locker, your gear choice, rotors and calipers loaded, and ABS ring and sensor.

Yeah, thats the one. They did the H2 first(about 2 years ago). Since they have done the owners reg cab chevy truck(the blue one) and another employee's reg cab 2WD(red). The red one is on the cover of Four Wheeler June 2005 magazine. The product is very high quality and appears to be very strong. I just cant get over that price tag, I bought a kingpin dana 60 off e-bay shipped from New York to Utah for 1300.00. Im into it another 1500.00 or so for bearings seals gears ect.. but still only around 3k and only thing I haven't purchased is calipers, brake pads, and kit to make abs work. For springs, shocks, and fab work incl steering im only lookin about 5k from a local shop and thats using high quality leaf packs and king shocks. I cant see payin 25k when it can be done for 8k but it sure would be nice.

Here's some pics of my buddy's 2500HD with a coil-over conversion. Turn out pretty nice I think he had $15k in it when all said and done. King 3" coil-overs up front, air bags in the rear. Rode like a Cadilac.

You can't see it in the pics but they added a shock tower brace across the engine bay to keep them from twisting under load. Most of the costs were fab time but the Kings were't cheap either.
