Well my truck really hates me right now, door lock doesn't get used so it's seized.. I always use the remote from my remote start key fob to unlock the doors. For some reason when I click the lights flash but neither door is unlocking. It worked fine Thursday, last night it woudln't.

So i guess i'm going to call a tow truck company to come and unlock the fing door for me. My question is will the horn start honking like a security thing when the door is opened?? Think i might get it open using a coat hanger???

I don't have a factory key fob to try unlocking with that.

If i go to start the truck with the key will the anti theft be activated or should it start??

Truck right now will start with the remote then only run for maybe 5 seconds and turn off so wanted to just try with the key...

if u want to try to open the door get either a stiff coat hanger or your antenna and go from the top of the door frame down. This means pulling the top of the door away from the body to get the antenna down to the power door lock switch. Good Luck

the horn may honk but if you just start the truck it should shut off, and the truck shouldn't be disabled.

Worked good. Something is wrong with the remote i concluded, will have to remember not to lock it till i fix things.

I think the bypass modual is broke or something because it will start the truck then it dies within 5 seconds, you press unlock and the lights flash but the doors never lock or unlock.
