Is it "ok" to punch it once and a while?
Better from a stop or @ certain speeds?

I'm pretty sure it will hit redline zone, is that bad?

Nail it anytime you want. The tranny will shift before you are near any danger zone on rpm's, and even if it doesn't the computer enforces a rpm limiter. You can rev it up in neutral, or hold a lower gear and run it up against the limiter to see what I am saying.:exactly:

Daddy computer is watching over you  and will step in to save you from yourself.

:muahaha:

I do constantly. The computer won't let it rev too high... It can handle it...

Just for your reference, I think the stock rev limit it 3200 or 3250 (one of those).

I have mine at 3400 and I have held it there for extended periods. I can't detect any damage from it yet, and it has been this way for over 13,000 miles.
