It always bothers me that all the chips, tunners, NOS, LP, etc. can't be run (at least not on high) while towing when you really need it because of EGTs, so I am thinking of running W/M inj. for the little power increase that will actually help when towing. My question is I haul a slide-in camper so I cant put an 8 gal. tank in the bed and need more than just the Windshield washer bottle since I am not just doing short drags but pulling long hills. How much will I use on a trip and how big of a tank can I mount else where?? If I only swith it on when pulling a grade how much will I consume on say a 5 mile 6% grade? or are there to many variables for a ball park answer.

It really depends on how long the W/M is on and what size nozzles you are running. I have 2.5 gal tanks that can be mounted in front or behind the wheel wells in the bed that won't be in the way of the camper. The problem is filling them (multiple set up) when the camper is in. I will have to work on this. We need a solution to this problem of having tanks in the bed with a slide in. I have to deal with the same problem.

We usually remove the camper when camping, so could I fill when leaving home and then refill at the campsite? or should I plan on refilling mid trip?

Make a trip across the river and we can talk WMI. I will be home tomorrow off and on.
