Could someone in the know please explain the GM loyalty discount and the military discount? And are they available with the GMS deal this month?

I went to a dealer today and was told that they are not offering the GM loyalty discount with this program.

From my understanding, it's an oldsmoblie loyalty discount, not GM. If you have an olds, it should apply. You still can take advantage of the military dicount, factory rebates still apply, as well as GM card redemption. I just bought a tahoe for my wife. MSRP $ 49,090. paid $ 36,500 out the door with a few accessories thrown in. :)

The loyalty one I can see not happening. The Military discount should be given whether or not it is offered (my opinion). With the rebates and employee discounts out there, makes for a real good deal loyalty or not.

They way they work is if you own a Chevy/GMC and go buy another one, they give you money for owning a previous Chevy/GMC product. The military is just as you think it would be, in the military at the time of signing papers and you get a discount. They also have a program where they give you money for being a recent college graduate.

Which Loyalty program are you talking about? There's one floating around the Pacific Nwst Region for full-size SUV's (Tahoes/'Burbs/Yukons, etc) that offers $1500 cash or $2500 off of a 20" wheel/tire package, and it is compatible with GMS. You have to be on their mailing list though to qualify.
