I have been watchin trucks on Ebay, craiglist, autotrader, locally and nothing ever suited my taste. my girl knew this, and knew what i wanted.

so a couple weeks ago she asked for my ebay password. wasn't sure why but said ok. now I know why!!

going to pick it up real soon. here she is...

96 2500, yes 2500 2wd with 6 lug wheels/4L80E. quite an odd ball truck. 200K miles, well maintained. very clean truck. it is located in Franklin, Ohio coincidently in the same city as the Am General 6.5 Diesel engine plant???!!!

yes, she does have a sister, very smart, Bachelor's in education, very pretty too.

I don't know how i will ever thank her for this. so far, many back massages, home cooked meals, out to dinner once a week for awhile.

additional details. truck does have relocated PMD, newer PMD itself. not sure what else is done to it. but for real, the truck will stay stock for awhile, cause now I am for sure broke, broke and HAPPY!

I have to agree, it should be above the cab a bit. (looks way too short)

but it is a NICE loooking truck otherwise.

Keep the stack just turn it straight back. though if you are getting a taller stack let me know bout the old one. Its short enough to fit under the pipe rack on my truck.

update:
had the truck delivered (for free). she wasnt running right and had random stalling, fuel supply issues.

so, being the good guy he was, Kyle delivered the truck to me.

got to work immediately on the diagnosis. was kinda confused about it's issues until I searched through some threads here.

discovered the fuel tank had a "GAs" style cap on it. this caused too much vacuum in the tank. gutted the fuel cap so it could vent.

also the PMD was relocated, but after talking with the PO, I had a suspicion that he bought a used PMD, relocation, and extention cable from Edam (ebay). used PMD=bad

so I bought a new dipaco pmd from Pensacola Diesel for a great deal $176 plus my bing cashback discount and installed.

ALL problems solved. truck runs great, already put 500 miles on her. hauling some decent weight too!

from what I can gather, the engine is original with 201K on it.

still have a few bad glow plugs/wires not sure.

checked everything else on the truck, changed fuel filter/air filter and OPS immediately.

I am in love. very happy with my purchase and so worth the 3500 i paid. :D
