can i install new pmd at remote location and leave old one in place? can i access wiring harness without pulling intake manifold?

Thats somting i like to know also for my Chevy VAN 1999

On a truck intake, it is possible for you to undo the connector and fish it out so you can plug in an extension harness, but it isn't easy lol. For Van intakes, I'm not sure as I haven't seen a van intake myself lol.
