Ok, I am going to do the HOOT Tranny Flush...

So what is the best technique to remove the line at the tranny returning to the pan from the cooler??? I undertsand thier is a trick to it!!!

Also, which line is it that is the return??? The lower??? They have soem sort of paper tags on them!!!

Also, what is the reccomended fluid amount?? 22 quarts... I have 8 gallons of Amsoil so i have plenty to run a little extra!!!

I am more worried about removign the line and whether it is a Special Tool Needed Job!!

THANKS
WILL;)

It's the top line that is from cooler.Push back the plastic cover (keeps crap out of slots and clip) so as not to break.Insert a small screwdriver and pry out gently on the clip.DO NOT LOSE track of the clip. You can then just pull the line straight out and put the clip back in the fitting, the line can be reinserted with clip in by just snapping it in.

Here is what it looks like. http://snyder-manufacturing.com/pics/jiffyTiteToolPics/5839Clip.jpg

My reference shows 12.7 qts of fluid for a complete overhaul with a standard size pan.
