My truck will shift funny sometimes when you get on the throttle harder. I have an edge and the gear selector will show its in forth then it shows the torque locked up then the truck bogs a little then like it realizes it shouldn't be locked yet so the tc unlocks then shifts to fifth and locks the tc. Had the stealership look at it and they said there were no codes for the trans except one for the MAF and one for the glow plug controller. Talked to the mechanic he said he couldn't get it to act up when he drove it but said that the computer uses input from the MAF also to calculate shifts?

Have you watched the deired fuel rail pressure and the actual fuel rail pressure to see if both maintain close? I am thinking maybe you need to change fuel filter.
