My local dealer can only seem to find Transynd in qts. from GM. Where is a good place to get this stuff?

Thanks

Johnson and Towers.....$28 per gallon....a little cheaper if you buy a 5 gallon pail.

http://www.allisontransmission.com/

At the above website there is a Sales and Service locator link at the top right corner. Look-up your local Allison service shop and give them a call.

Check your local Allison dealer. Mine was a bus company of all places. The Transynd was $25 per quart. Allison spin on was $7. Mobil 1 75W-90 for rear end was $3.50 per quart.

Stewart and Stevenson is also another good place to get good prices as well.

Try finding a local IH truck dealer/service center. They usually carry it in gallons under the Detroit/Allison line.

As stated above Allison dealers will have it. It's made by Castrol for Allison so maybe any Castrol supplier can get it.
