Sounds like you have a tune not using the latest format. Have to save the tune first then reopen the newly saved tune. Usually ends in 0000 when it does that. If that is what it is asking.

May need to exit and restart EFILive Tune if you haven't.

yes i saved the one ive had on there for awhile i got from nick ( duramax tuner) and it says 0000 so does this mean i have to take the tow tune from him and script it or something?

No something back about year on EFIlive made a change to the tun format and required it to be resaved but of course does not require the 0000. Just a way they did it to indicate the new tune.
You should not have to script it. You have used it before and I assume it is the same OS as the current stock ECM tune. Do you know your current OS? I assume your using 8594 OS version.
Have you updated the software lately?
Check the sticky post at the top at this section and check on updating.
Still I see nothing to stop you but seeing means more than anything.

Yes, about a year ago they decided it would be a good idea to save the entire ECM data in the tune rather than just the cal section. therefore if you open and old .tun file it will require to re-save the current tune adding the rest of the ECM data that it is missing. It increased the file size from 885kb to 1330kb (for LBZ'z)
BTW this is only for bosch trucks. Does not apply to LLY/lb7

Is the ECM data you speak of related to "Full Flasing" data?

yes it is. IIRC when full flashing a delphi controller the tuning tool would "fill in the rest" (for lack of a better term) and the dev team felt it was safer to store all of that data in the .tun for the bosch controllers.
