Any thoughts, pro or con, on wheel manufactures like American Racing and Helo? I read a negative report on Ion wheels, any other opinions. Looking for chrome 17" wheels to use in fair weather that will make a white NBS ext. cab stand out. Thanks. :)

It's all a matter of personal preference when it comes to wheel styling. What some guys love, others hate, and vice versa.

I have had good luck with American Racing and Pro Comp alloys, also I had some Mickey Thompson classic locks that were a real PITA to keep clean, but always came back shining like new. Most of the time I find its just the center caps that corrode? Worst wheels i've ever had were Ultras. Peeling in 2 months.

It is def a matter of personal preferance. I am partial to BMF wheels but like other ones too.

If I had the cash I would go with walker evans wheels!

Helo chrome is not going to last. Pro Comp chrome will last years.
