Well I have searched some butt havn't seen anything close enough to my problem. while getting on the gas from 3/4 to WOT in 5th and 6th there is a real bad shake that shakes the whole truck. i have never limped it but i do drive it real hard, fluid level looks good. It shakes so bad you have to get out of the gas. i have not put the transgo JR. in not sure if that would help or not. I am afriad that it is a bigger problem. I know i'am over the suggested power level but its been on the high level since about 300 miles have about 29500 on it now without no limps but i have done lots of hard take offs. Just wondering if anyone knows whats going on. Thanks for any HELP!

OT: had to add that because your avatars is nice! :D

Unless you have your trans in a relearn I have no idea why a shift would make your truck shake. Unless there is a mount somewhere thats loose or something inside the trans thats loose. If your really worried about it get it looked at ASAP. If your tune is high too that is instant cannon fodder for a trans limp.

I had the same feel as you but after my Suncoast no more. I suspect it to have been my torque converter was trashed. The clutch packs were not too bad looking. But were scorched so may have been clutch pack 2 slipping as well. I you can find someone that can diagnose the torque converter or moniotr slip they be able to say which but if either is bad one just installs a 3 disc converter and rebuild clutch pack kit.

If either or combo of both bad then the transgo will be of little help. I suggest you contact Eric Merchant or Mike L here on the board.

Yeah i just finished a job El Segundo Cali about 3 miles from Mike L's shop i should have had them look at it. I was hopeing it might just be a torque converter. First throgh fourth seam fine so i wasn't sure...

Mine felt the same. It seems good locking 4th on down but in 5th it vibrate bad with some heavy throttle. I don't see it falling apart overnight. Drove mine like 3 or 4 months till I found the time to get it rebuilt.
