Was down at a local chassis shop certifing some cars when I noticed a full size chevy truck glass body with some frame rails and a mock up block.

I'm not going to mention names, but it seems like one of our local so cal companies has some plans......

Should be a sweet ride.....

On edit,
By the way, this is now the 4th tube chassis truck I know of here in so cal being built.

And the guys at work still laugh about these diesel trucks and say there's no interest in them.

... And the guys at work still laugh about these diesel trucks and say there's no interest in them.

Those slow-arsed, smelly diesels can't get out of their own way, you know. :D :D

I'll bet they wander about all day at work, muttering, "There's no replacement for displacement." I imagine some day they'll realize that high-BTU pump fuel combined with lots of air is a fine replacement for displacement. But by then, they'll be hopelessly in the dark ages.

On third thought, I really don't want to encourage your co-workers. The longer they sit on their wrought-iron fences, the better off Eric and I'll be. :D

3 are that I know for sure, the last one I think is a dodge. It's the only one I haven't seen with my eyes.

Moved it, this is about the best place for it I suppose since we dont really have a general comp forum ect.

Cool deal BTW.

Are you making them aware of a future class in the DHRA? :)

Eric,

More less just talking to myself out loud....:D

Hoping someone would chime in about any general details of their "build in progress" projects....

I mean the only one that really chimes in on their project (sometimes waaaay toooo much) is Greg...

It's always interesting to hear about what people are doing/building (of course without spilling to many details).

I'll let you do the annoucing on future DHRA ideas ...:)

I would love to talk about our testing on the dragster, but anymore you just get told what you are doing wrong and made fun of and that isn't any fun. I like this board, but I don't have a Duramax, and they probably don't want to hear about my old sled pulling 12 valve engine dragster. :)

It'd be hard to see their streaks compared to the ones already there...

Then again, you haven't had that much seat time yet, so they might not be that dark yet...

Naw, been there, done that and NO STREAKS.

U need to shorten the wheelbase down to <120", for more fun ):h

Lot more fun carrying the front wheels through low gear.
