Can anyone post a picture or description of which way the resistor goes inside the PMD? Writing up or down? Thanks

The writing goes up it only goes one way on the pins

No. it only goes one way. Compare the shape of the connector cavity, there are rounded edge and square edge. It is small so if you are like me, I may need a magnifying glass.
