Just changed my fuel filter and the black wire is broken off the bottom. Could not put back together cause broke of flush with plastic. The truck starts up fine and no lights on the dash. What will happen with that wire being broke until I get a new one? Just fuel filter percentage not move?

Merchant Automotive has them. It is a dealer item normally.

I had to replace mine, cause it was getting beat up. I bought it through the dealership and I think I paid about $45.00 for it.

On the Dmax vans it is just a plug with drain. I am guessing it would be much cheaper than the truck one with sensor but you never know with GM.
