This is a follow up to the suggestions you folks gave me. I checked my TDC with a Snap-On MT 2500 and I'm at -5.0. is this good? I'm looking for the most ecnomical setting. Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick welcome to the site,

Update your sig per welcome notes sticky, assuming your are OBD II here is what I posted on my readings in FAQ sticky for timing set OBDII.

Snap On MT2500 TDC display is incorrect vs. a Tech 2 tool a T2 -.25 to-.75 setting is -4.8 on a MT2500, a T2 -1.76 to -1.94 setting is displayed as -5.4 MT2500 only carries to 1 decimal place.

Your number probably falls into -1.5 T2 tool range, which is a good towing setting fuel econ is more a function how you drive, tires, & gearing more than timing influence.
