Well I went to the track tonight to get some test runs in for hopefully my up and coming grudge race. I only got 3 runs though, it was pretty crowded. 1st pass was my first run in my truck down the dragstrip. I run #2 only with quad 215 and edge 5/5. 4x4, tow haul, co-pilot wfo. Here is how it went:
2.02- 60ft.
13.7@98 1/4

I was expecting a little better but I think there is alot more in it b/c of the 60ft. I had no traction bars and the front tires were towing in badly I was told. I did have the t-bars down and air press. 30f/40r. Also still have the stock wastegate as I think it is causing me some trouble, I will get to that in a min.
Second pass I heated the bottle to 1050psi. and put the .063 nos jet in that I dynoed with and put the quad on the 215nos tune. Here is the result:
1.93- 60ft.
12.93@106 1/4
My first trip to the track and 12's:ro) It made me happy but I wanted to get a little bit deeper in the 12's. So I went and made a jet change. 3rd run same as above but put a .076 nos jet in. Here is how it went:
1.92- 60ft.

WTF???????? I can't figure out what happened. Same as or a tad better 60ft. and quite a bit more power with the bigger jet and I slow down???? The only thing I can guess is the stock wastegate is bleeding off boost and with the extra power of the bigger jet it just fell on it's face. I could even feel it nose over down track and knew it was slower. I also weighed the bottle after the 3rd pass and it had 21lbs. in it so I did'nt run out of nitrous. I guess I got some issues to work out but hopefully get some traction help soon. Glad to be a 12sec. crew cab now Hopefully just a little deeper. Lemme know what you guys think Later Nate

went to the track last night too...made it to the 5th round but its bracket racing...

A couple of the runs were with the tailgate shut and on one or two of 'em I braked it at the end of the strip just so I could advance to the next round. Overall I was a little dissapointed with the times but had a ton of fun. I was also getting som pretty good looks and thumbs up being a 1 ton diesel and staying in it all the way to the 5th round. Only 5 cars left when I redlighted and was done. I was pissed! Shoulda trophied.

Nice times Nate. First time at the track and 12's:ro) Some work on the launch and a little tuning on the N2O, you'll be where you want to be. I kind of feel sorry for the ford. Not!
