what doues a plug look like in an 05 gauge cluster w/dic,id like to try it in my 02 3500

dmax3500--- Sorry, it wont work...again...same issue with conflicting data bus systems. 2003 and up, everything is operated by Class II. The cluster would not turn on or communicate properly with the BCM without the Class II data network. (see my more detailed explanation in the thread where you asked about installing a factory nav unit)

You could try getting an aftermarket piece, maybe one from a hummer or escalade. But the guage cluster from an 03' up will not work with your truck.

The OLD driver info center from 2001-2002 Denali's and Escalade's (the style that mounts above the CD changer in the center console) will work in a pre-Class II data bus truck (1995-2002). JP Customs put one in a 2000 Silverado IIRC.
