Just installed a PPE Xcelerator, standard on Level 3. 2005 3500 GMC, LLY

When I really dip in the throttle I seem to have a fuel knock at 2000-2100 RPM'ish. It sounds similar to the 2600 RPM Pilot injector noise that these trucks have. If I just ease through the throttle though, the noise isn't there.

Other mods are EGR Blocker/Fingerstick, 4" Turbo Back (Muffler but no cat), and an S&B intake.

Where should I begin looking for a solution, injector balance? Fuel filter was replaced less than 5000 KM's ago.

It's a possibilty that the "noise" is just an increase in timing. The only fix would be to remove the tuner.

Mine will do the same, seems it was a little lower in the rpm range though.Only in the cooler temps of late fall, winter and early spring. Was told on here it was timing rattle?Don't like it and don't like driving like I have an egg under my right foot, mostly on uphills it seemed to be the worst.I have never run on level 3,(yet) but mine will do it on 1an 2,so unfortunatly I'm on stock till warmer temps.Don't know where your at but I have always wondered if elevation has anything to do with it as well because some don't report this issue?

So if it's just a noise related to timing increase, is it cause for concern? I'm by no means a diesel expert so if that's a dumb question I apologize.
