My 2001 duramax is throwing a P0380 code.I had a freind have a quick look at it with the scanner and he is saying.ECM is telling the glow plugs on,but it is to get some sort of signal back that it is not seeing and putting the code in.He is telling me there is a fusible link between somewhere that I am to check.So my question is has anyone ever had this fusible link go on them and should I still be looking at the controller or glow plugs.I know I should be checking all,but I am looking for the simple and quick fix.
