im having trouble in an 01 work truck of mine. the wiring harness for the bright lights is getting hot and melting the plug where it plugs into the turn signal/bright light lever on the column. what would be causing this?? the fuses dont blow, but you can tell that they have been hot enough to melt the plastic somewhat. http://partimages.genpt.com/largeimages/102899.jpg

The terminals within the plug at the dimmer switch have lost their tension or the conacts within the switch itself are failing.
