Not sure if this is the place to be posting this but...Here's the story. One of my best friends drives the west coast demo truck for Cannondale bicycles, they run gmc 3500 doolies with the duramax as their tow rigs. His truck is down with dead injectors and for some reason they can't get it fixed till tommorow but he needs to get from Napa California to Utah before Saturday for a big race and he's a big part of the support team.
Does anyone know if there's anyway he can get a tow down there? He's got a 35'+ gooseneck trailer that needs to get there as well as himself. I'm not sure if this is the type of business that hotshot haulers deal with?

Haha, well his parents have lived in Napa for a long time now. From what he tells me it doesn't sound like the ghetto.

jmg343, Thanks for the offer I really appreciate it. I guess he decided that it was too late to go. They did get the injectors (all 8) replaced finally but there are still problems, check engine light is coming on so it looks like he'll be back in to the dealer.

Howd it all work out?

Manny, he didn't make it to the race that weekend and is still having problems with the truck. It's running now after they replaced all 8 injectors and one cracked cylinder head but he's having some low oil pressure issues now. He'll be looking for a medium duty dealer this time as I guess the shop he took it to last didn't really know they're a$$ from a hole in the ground. Anyone know of a good dealer in moab? I think that's where he is right now.

Moab only has one chevy/GMC dealer.

The dealer should give him a replacement truck for the weekend, if they have any pride in the GM way of business.

There is another dealer in Price that is OK... They are off I-70 so a little more accustomed to dealing with MDTs. I think if he can get it to Gene Harvey Chevrolet in American Fork Utah they have a great service dept. Or Jerry Seiner in SLC on 106th South and I-15.
