I payed to have my injection pump replaced. Is the 11 year - 120,000 mile warranty by GM true? I have all documentation and reciepts for the work completed. Any idea how to go about recieving a reimbursement from GM.
Any help would be appreciated.

the pump is covered for that long. mine had under 120k and i went to the dealer to have it changed, but it was too many years past. oh well. hope they pay you back. must have been at least a $1,000.

I'm not 100% on the requirements, but those are the numbers I found in GM bulletin: 00064F - Dated Sep. 2004

If you have the stealer did it, they shoud file the paperwork for you and reimbursed directly by GM without you have to pay it ahead.
I am not sure if you have paid them. May be call GM customer service number?

The "warranty is eleven years or 120.000 miles". The original iin service, or first sale date starts the time period.. There is a sticky of how to survive the trip to the dealer. One can salso seek reimbursment if done @ independent repair shop. Time & miles limits apply .

About the only one under warranty now is 2000 and 2001 (?? if they have one) model year before it goes over 120k miles.
Is yours a 2000 model?
