Sooooo its my turn for new injectors and I have been looking like crazy on all different sites for different deals and I found the best deal it looks like. I found the Industrial Injection 50HP complete injectors. With my mods it seems like a good deal. My buddy can get me new stock ones from the dealer for like $180 each but if these are good injectors I will go with these. Does anyone have any good or bad input on these?

I dont have any experience with them myself but from talking with different people theres a lot more negative feedback than positive.

I have heard a few things from pacougar. But besides not coming fully assembled or nozzles loose I dont mind that I can check them before I install them. I just wanted to see if they were good injectors before I go spend $1,600 on a new set.

The Industrial set you looked at are new Bosch injectors with Industrial 15% over nozzles. We've sold several sets of these with great results. Let me know if I can help you out with a set.

Ive always wondered about % to hp ratios! So mathematically 60%'s are 200hp injectors?

Yea me too. Is there some kind of hp to % ratio or chart?

I appologize, the set you looked at are not new, they are reman injectors. I looked at the link to quick. These are the new set, with 15% over nozzles. http://www.alligatorperformance.com/industrial-injection-0104-duramax-injectors-with-nozzles-sold-p-3858.html

I dont mind a reman set if they are going to last. I would rather save the money on the reman ones. Does anyone have these injectors or know anyone?

i would just send your tips out to extrude hone, i went with 60% over and it was under 500 dollars, ind i know if you went 40% over it would be even less, and that is alot cheaper than the industrial injection set up, if you can afford to have the truck down for a week or so

Can this be done to injectors once they go bad or is it just preventive measures to make them last longer?

if your injectors are bad then just honing the tips isnt going to help them, 2002siera, have you priced stock injectors, im sure there alot cheaper and then you could just get the tips honed out to whatever percent you want, thats probably what i would go with

Yea I can get new stock ones for $180 each. The 50HP over ones i was looking at are only $200 each but i was just checking to see if anyone has them and see what they have to say before I buy.

The remans have proved less than reliable in several cases. Bosch only supplies a few reman parts, not the entire internal assembly, so the best case is you get a set of used injectors that are within flow specs and have a few new internal wear parts. The worst part of the reman sets are, if your a core is not rebuildable, the core refund for that individual injector will not be refunded by Industrial Injection.

yea I found reman sets are about $1,300 range. So for an extra $300 I can get the 50HP remans. I wans just checking with everyone here and see if anyone has them or has anything to say about them before i go spend $1,600 and a ton a labor.
