Ok it's in the shop, my wife dropped it off yesterday, they called and said sorry couldn't get to it today we will look at it tomorrow. Great I had to ride my Mt Bike to the transit center today, luckily it's down hill ( a huge freaking mile hill) to get there but I am going to have to pedal up it on the way home CRAP!

Well anyway the service guy talked to my wife, she explained what it was doing and gave him the notes I had written down, he is like we will get to it but if it isn't what he says... it is you will have to pay the 200 dollar bill for the Diagnostic run.
Well lets see it is throwing a SES light (off and on) and it is an 01 with the 200000 mile warranty...with this being the first time I have taken it there, since my usually chevy place is so backed up with work and the Diesel guy is only there 3 times a week, seems kinda rude to act like that.

I guess my question is if it is FPR and maybe unbalanced injector or two should I get a loaner from the service department?

yes!!!!! if the dealer is a good one!!!!i'm taking mine in this monday for a rear main seal replacement and without asking about a loaner the tech told me that a loaner will be ready for me at 8:00 the same day...but it's all up to the dealer how well they treat their customers, that way i drive 40 miles to mine.

when you get a loaner they speed the process up because your are putting miles on their car...ask the service manager,or call gm direct and they will give a claim #,with this # you can rent one,use the # as a p.o. so they can send the bill to gm.
