While driving down hwy the other day on cruise my truck got lounder not a down shift, it just changed sounds like the valves started rattling. Then most of the time on 2 to 1 gear down shifts really hard, but some times if u give it fuel during the 2 to 1 shift it will hit neutral. The truck also pulls really hard when stopped in gear while on brake like its idled up but is on about 800. My lope tune will not make it lope in or out of gear. Any ideas what it could be?

sounds like you were running your rails dry. how many rpm's was the engine at when this happened?

It almost sounds like your fuel pressure is a LOT higher than it needs to be. Do you have a way to check it?

I was just cruising about 70 probley around 2000 rpm. Have not checked fuel press, I will.
