gkruzich 01-18-2010, 04:17 PM I'm sure that I'm not the first to post this, but I received it in an email today. Thought I would share.:)

CRASHNBURN 01-19-2010, 01:37 PM I love my CTS RACE, but I miss my juice.. I really like the turbo timer to. Plus, you add shift on the fly.. Sweet!!!
DSTRBD 01-20-2010, 01:55 PM Yeah, each has their ups and downs. Overall I think the Evolution CS/CTS is the way to go. Shift on the fly and turbo timers can come in handy sometimes though.
onefastz71 01-24-2010, 03:32 PM CRASHNBURN I was wondering if you could take some pics of your CTS for me. I'm looking into getting me a Dmax and was planing on running either the cs or cts. To me the cts looks like it would be easier to read. If you could do that that would be great.
Thanks Rick

onefastz71 01-24-2010, 03:54 PM Thanks do you happen to have any of the cs? I've used that Juice/attitude before on my 6.0 and now have an insight but since I'm selling my Ford and looking to get back in a GM I'm planning on running one of these, just not really sure which one. How does the cs compare to the insight. Can you display 5 gauges the the cts?
AlligatorPerformance 01-24-2010, 04:02 PM I don't have an installed pic of the CS, but it's the same size as the Attitude monitor. The CTS will only show 3 analog gauges, the CS will show two. The CTS and the CS will show 8 PID's at one time though.
onefastz71 01-24-2010, 04:08 PM Hey thanks for all the help I just got one more question really quick. I will be using the truck mainly for towing a fifth wheel and a partial DD. I plan on doing an exhuast (not sure weather cat back or turbo) either way I will delete the cat. Probably do and egr block as well. would I be better off with the regular evo or the race?
Thanks Rick
AlligatorPerformance 01-24-2010, 04:09 PM If you're going to block the EGR, you need the race tuner for sure. The std. EVO won't block the EGR code.
Let me know if I can help you out with anything.
Chad
onefastz71 01-24-2010, 04:11 PM Alright I will do. I've been looking over your site and it looks like you got some good deals. Would probably be interested in a package deal. Now I just got to find the right truck.
Thanks Rick
AlligatorPerformance 01-24-2010, 04:18 PM Good luck finding the right one.
onefastz71 01-24-2010, 04:19 PM I know I've been looking for about 2 months and can't find anything either they have way to many miles or they are work trucks.

Sorry I was out, but it looks like Chad answered all of your questions..

Especially in that area, lots of farmers and construction guys. Have you looked at Dave Smith up here?
onefastz71 01-24-2010, 07:25 PM No I haven't looked a Dave Smith. I think that they may be a little far to go I really wont need it till May since I got my S-10 to drive to work.
JD4440 03-06-2010, 10:51 PM Is the CTS itself a standalone monitor or do you have to have the tuner to go with it ?
CRASHNBURN 03-06-2010, 11:07 PM Is the CTS itself a standalone monitor or do you have to have the tuner to go with it ?
The CTS insight will be a standalone monitor. The CTS RACE is a programmer & the CTS Attitude needs the juice unit to work.
JD4440 03-07-2010, 12:14 AM Guess I need the insight then
CRASHNBURN 03-08-2010, 08:04 PM Guess I need the insight then
Since you aleady have EFI LIVE no reason to drop your money on another programmer then...
JD4440 03-08-2010, 11:05 PM true, just need to swap some guages around and this looks to be an option.
HYRIDEN 03-10-2010, 07:50 PM If you have the edge juice with attitude and want to get the new cs or cts. Edge will buy or old attitude monitor from you.
Sweet deal.

Sweet deal.
would you have to purchase the level 6 hot code again?
HYRIDEN 03-12-2010, 11:53 AM That's a good question. I wouldn't think so,Should not have to pay for something twice. But you would have to ask them to be sure.
They also have sales on the hot code also. $50.00 for any one thinking about it.

They will not have to pay for the unlock again, if Edge can verify that they paid for it in the first place.
tw89yj 03-16-2010, 09:23 PM Anyone have an Edge with CTS on order? I've got one ordered, but I think they are on backorder right now.
JD4440 03-16-2010, 10:37 PM Recieved my CTS Evolution today.
Ramblinrodney 03-17-2010, 09:14 AM Recieved my CTS Evolution today.
I think tw89yj ment was Edge Juice with Attitude CS/CTS
tw89yj 03-17-2010, 05:10 PM I ordered Evo Race with CTS monitor. How long did it take to receive it, JD4440?
JD4440 03-17-2010, 07:19 PM p/n 85200. I recieved it next day air
tw89yj 03-18-2010, 07:37 AM Thanks, not sure what the hold up is with mine. Maybe the vendor you purchased it from had it in stock, instead of dropshipping it from Edge.
tw89yj 03-18-2010, 07:43 AM For those already running it, how well does the turbo brake work? I already have the Fleece Performance turbobrake, but I'm going to take it out if the Edge brake works just as well.

The turbo brake works great.. The only drawing back I see is you can only use it in level 2 with tow haul on. The Edges turbo brake is just a software turbo brake. Don't you have to weld it something on the The fleece performace turbobrake. The fleece turbobrake has a preformance mode you would not get with the Edge turbo brake also. With the Edge you would also get a great programmer!!!
tw89yj 03-23-2010, 12:54 PM Will I be able to adjust the speedo for larger tires with the Evo?
DSTRBD 03-23-2010, 12:58 PM Yes, you can.
tw89yj 03-23-2010, 01:07 PM Yes, you can.
Thanks
a few questions, first my edge w/attitude took crap the other day (truck wouldnt even start) so i called and they told me i can exchange it for a new one like it for 350, a cs for 500 or a cts for 599. sweet deal i thought.
also i read on this turbo break is that only for the newer duramax's? im runnin a lb7 so its not a variable pitch turbo like the newer ones. just wondered.
and somebody asked how many meters u can run at once, i believe their site says 8. but only 5 on the color screen.
also i noticed it said 6 levels on edges site. does it come with hot unlock already? lvl 5 was 125hp and 6 was 150hp where mine is like 100 on lvl5
tw89yj 04-07-2010, 09:23 PM I installed my Evo Race with CTS today. I've noticed one thing so far that seems odd to me, on the interstate with cruise set about 72mph, the truck is surging. Boost will vary between 4-8 psi on 0 grade, and it puffs a little smoke while doing this. Anyone else had this happen?

I have the Edge CTS Race.. I think the attitude CTS can display the 8 gauges at once also, but it is just the square boxes & not the anology 5 display looking. It will come with the 5 levels & there will be a fee to upgrade to the hot unlock.

Did you upgrade the software?
tw89yj 04-08-2010, 08:51 AM Did you upgrade the software?
I loaded the disc on my laptop and followed instructions.:D I then hooked the CTS to the laptop, and I believe it said it was updating, took about 15 minutes.
maybee 04-09-2010, 10:36 AM i just got my CS in the mail yesterday and installed it durring my lunch break, pretty straight forward and i love the color display. i didnt go with the CTS becasue i had trouble talking myself into spending an extra $150 for 2 more inches of diplay when both models offer basically the same options/power settings..... with the exception of the back up camera and touch screen of course. having the bigger screen would be nice but the display on the CS shows more than enuff. i havent put it on anything past level 2 so far but i love the drivability of it so far. i did notice that it has alot deeper tone from about 0-5 mph. kind of curious to see how my millage improves over the next few weeks.

So how are you liking it maybee? I'm looking at getting the Juice w/ attitude CTS and wanted to hear your thoughts. How are the MPG's?
JD4440 05-15-2010, 10:16 AM I'm liking mine for sure. Only thing is the backup camera wants to fog up when it rains.

thanks JD. how are the MPG's?
JD4440 05-16-2010, 10:37 AM That I can't comment on sice I just use mine for guages. It wont connect to the ecm for tuning if it doesn't see an OE calibration.
