I'm looking to get rid of the filter & get a programmer, I don't think it has a cat. on it. I've been told the kodiak is different than pickups, but the ppe & efilive should work. Do these programmers just plug in, download then just unplug like the diablo I have in my 02?

PPE plugs in, dont know if they have a unit for your 09 though. Check their website or call them and talk to Dan. I've never used EFI but it's also a great way to go.

I have 2008 5500 4x4, they operate on a different system than the 2500/3500 trucks, the medium duties w/DPF are different. I still cant find a program for mine? any questions just call, Jeff 703 670 4566 :cool:

EFILive does support the 08 and 09 Kodiaks with the 6.6L engine. Many of the handhelds don't offer support because the table layouts are generally different to the standard trucks and the market is smaller.

At this stage we don't offer TCM programming on the 09, but that will move into development in the next couple of months.

Generally speaking you won't find programmers for the 7.8L because they use a completely different ECM.

Hi Cindy any news?

Engine tuning is currently available on the 08 and 09 LYE engine. We won't be offering transmission tuning for at least a couple more months.
