My wait to start light stayed on much longer than normal. When I started the engine the check engine light illuminated. I used a code reader and found the code for the #2 glow plug. I changed the plug and this has not corrected the problem. Any ideas? 2006 GMC CC 4x4 LBZ

It will clear on it own after a few days, but a glow plug code doesn't mean thats the problem.

Are you sure you changed the correct one? #2 is on the driver's side NOT the passenger side.

I'm having a problem with my lil light too, mine will come on countinuously just for a second or two and then go off and while I'm driving. This started today for the first time ever. Any ideas?

No I changed the passenger side. Boy did I demonstrate my newbieness. I kept the old plug. Would it be OK to put back in on the actual #2 side? Is there a diagram of the cylinder numbers I can get for future reference?

Yes, just put the old "good" one in the #2 hole. The cylinders are numbered from front to rear 2 4 6 8 on the drivers side and 1 3 5 7 on the passenger side. That's funny, I just had to replace #2 on mine as well.
