I have a slight ignition miss under a no load situation. The problem has always been with the truck since I bought it used.

88 fuel injected 454. Heads are new and all ignition componets replaced. The distributor shaft was replaced because the magnetic pickup was cracked. I rolled the computer out and it has been chiped.

Under load and at operating temps the miss is gone or not noticable....anyone?

Nope tried everything I knew of. Cleaned all grounds to the computer. I suspect the Hypermax chip might be doing it. I'm going to clean it and plug it back in.

Kind of a pain and bugs me. Just thought someone might have answer I never thought of.

Everything is new on the fuel side to....gaskets, idle air....ect The only thing I did not replace was the throtle position sensor.
