Tie rod sleeves beef up your (believe it or not) tie rods. Many believe that strengthening this component is useful in 4x4 launches. Others think that tie rods should be the weak link, as if they don't bear the brunt of forces that could break them, something else more expensive in the driveline will.

I have no idea hjow much they cost, but would guess somewhere in the $150 range.

So In A 2wd I Shouldnt Worry About Them?

I wouldn't.

Bud is dead on, the sleeves are for high boost hard launches in 4 wheel drive.
