Just wondering what kind of RPMs most of you guys are turning while pulling the sled? Looking for peak RPM #'s. Thanks.

mtomac and others would you recomend gong more than 4000 if you could or is that flirting with disaster. I am going to be running a 5 spd like what the older dodges use and am wanting to get as much speed as I can get out of my gear. Also mtomac what are you doing for a kill switch as I am having trouble getting my 87 to run with the transplanted dmax?

Are u coming to Indy, talk to Craig, he pulls a 6 spd. dmax.

I'm sure others will be pulling them too and looking at there set up will help set yours up.

No I was planning on throwing some more money at my truck and try to make some progress. When I started this project I was wanting it done by now for all these events, oh well maybe Terre Hoate is a possability. My 02 is a 6 spd and I've pulled it a few times and didn't really like the gear ratios to choose from. They seemed to low or to high I'm hoping that my "special combo" will make for the right combination.

A kill switch won't help the transplanted motor. I'm guessing you have a security/vats issue.

i have hit 4200, a good pull for me will be at least 4000 or higher. my last pull i got first said i hit 3600. depends on the sled too
