I called TW Brown Oil Co. in Ventura, CA to inquire about their B20. Currently selling for $2.85/gal. Available 24 hours if you have a CFN card which I don't since I don't do long haul or anything like that...just my daily driver. If you are an individual you have to pay inside, meaning M-F between 8-5pm only, and I would have to fill out an IRS form and another document for the Southern California BioDeisel Users Group. Has anyone else been required to fill out documentation?
Anyone know if GM has put it in writing that B20 is acceptable?

I have not heard of this.........
I do have a CFN card though. Not hard to get, free.
Why fill out an IRS form? Tax rebate?
I wouldnt be to concerned about GMs stupid standards, but rather with the quality of fuel in the first place.

I found out about TW Brown Oil after reading one of your posts but I still have alot to learn about biodiesel. Should I be worried about the B20 TW Brown sells?

B20 should be fine.
How are you buying it? Drums, or at the pump?
Anytime you buy BD, it is a good idea to put some in a transparent bottle, and have a look see. Cloudy bd is bad bd.

So are you saying that if you get the CFN card, you dont have to fill out all the other BD paperwork?
If so, just get a card. There is no charge for it, at least there wasnt for me.

Not sure if the CFN card will get me out of the paperwork but it will allow me to purchase fuel 24 hours a day. If I pay w/ my debt card I have to go inside and they are only open M-F 8-5.

I apologize for asking this because I know nothing about BD. But I am trying to learn because it looks interesting. Why would you pay $2.85/gal for B20 or in another post $3.50 or so for B100 when it supposed to be cheaper than dino?? Even if you mix it, what are you gaining? I know there is a simple answer, and I'm sure it is more than environmental only.
Thanks for clarification.
