Tried to build a truck online at 3 different websites and the duramax option doesn't show up. Just got off chat with GM, he said duramax not available on any pickup truck and doesn't know why. I appologize in advance for my lack of knowledge about this... I've been out of the loop for a while... and yes I've searched the DP forum. Am I missing something?

I just went to Chevy's site and was able.

Well they are doing switch over for the new emission required LML Duramax for 2010 requirements. But some 2010 built before the end of 2009 was over with the LMM.

Remember the 2010's are being built with Duramax's built before January 1. There is a limited supply.

Not saying they don't exist, just not able to order one. Dealer said no duramax's available currently, plus I heard ordering a new GM now is kind of a nightmare, dealers can't even get their orders. Not ready to replace my truck for 2 more years. I hope GM works things out in that time. Kinda sucks chassis cab with ext cab is no longer available.

I was talking to a GM rep at a Landscape show this week and he said they are not selling the LML yet as they don't have pricing yet. He figured the LML will cost about 3k more then the LMM. I took all his info with a grain of salt but that's what he told me.

the 2010s were in short supply the batch of duramaxs wont be until july 15 is the order date we have then they will be 2011s with the lml
