What's the best way to go on EFI live buying it or just having someone who knows what there doing do it for you. I here its not to hard to do it yourself I just don't know plus I do have my own laptop

Once my clutch goes, I'll be getting efi live and a lift pump. Oh, and tie rod sleeves since I already have to put it in 4x4 to get up and going.... Not having posi really sucks!

Ok, I was wondering the same thing about upgrades. My 04 GMC HD 3/4 is in the shop getting head gaskets I think? Haven't heard back form them in one and a half days. The coolant was pressurized and blowing out the tank esp if towing 25 ft. goose neck. I had injectors replaced about 20 k ago have 140 K now. I was hoping the injector cups might be the problem but with my luck probably not. I ran on level 3 (edge) most all the time except when towing and would go to 1 to keep egt's down. I don't know a lot about diesel engine but have a drag boat and understand some about motors. What will a lift pump do and the same for live EFI? Sorry for the elementary questions. Thanks Jay

Dont forget about gauges to keep an eye on that newly tuned monster, if you dont plan on keeping the attitude display.

since you are doing everything anyway you may want to look into stage III kits on the tranny just to keep it all intact.

Ok so I know I will need a new tranny but I guess what I would like to know is if I get EFI live should I just buy it and tune me own truck or should I buy it from someone who just flashes my truck computer and sends it back. And has anyone driven around with a 500hp tune without blowing up there motor
