My Dmax is now using more lp than diesel. Last tank of diesel figured at 39 mpg. Back when I was getting 31 on diesel I was getting 30 on lp, don't know what the lp mileage has fallen to now. I'll have to use a 10 lb bottle weighed before and after and do a check on my next road trip.

I dont see why not.....but I dont quite get it.

How much are you paying for lp/g?

The lp that I currently have was $1.09. So my previous mileage of 31 diesel 30 lp came to something like this. If diesel is $2.30, the diesel part is 7.4¢/mi, and the lp part is 3.6¢/mi, for a total of 11¢/mile. If the truck ran straight diesel and got 19 mpg, it would be 12¢/mile. So, a bit of savings, not much. But I have the great torque that the lp gives, plus it runs quieter and the oil looks like new. Also, the diesel part is around B20, because I put in 5 gal of B100 every fillup.

Do not forget the increased driving range....which some people are putting on big aftermarket tanks to get.

Marcdeluca....where are you mounting your tank(s)?

It is in the front of the bed. Holds 100 gal. It is from my previous truck, which was a CCLB 454.
