I just noticed this forum and thought it would be sweet to be first.

I would like to setup a manual valve body 4L80E for my pulling truck. Building the tranny and converting to manual valve body is easy. The problem is I run this truck to and from the pulls (point of pride) and want to keep the lockup function. I'm running this in a 1980 1 ton so it does not have the electronics for it. I have wired up the current 700r4 for manual lockup and have not been able to find any info on how to manually lock the converter on the 4L80E.....anyone know or know were to look.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

Lead foot depends what vintage 4L80 you are playing with 96 & later OBDIIs use PWM to control lockup, aftermarket controllers have had very limited successes.
