Just curious if there is a fix out there to put tow hooks or D rings or anything back on once u have raised the bumper flush to the grille. I kinda wish I didn't do it now. I miss my hooks.

On my '02 when I did my Denali conversion, - I flipped the hooks upside down and swapped them left to right.

On the '02 frame, that allowed me to wedge the back of the towhook between the blocker beam tube (that goes through the frame) and the top of the inside of the frame rail.

Then I redrilled holes at the end of the frame rails and put the two side bolts in on each side of the hook.

Has worked great so far - no issues and have used them to pull out a couple stumps and stuck friends.

I don't know if that will work for an '05 truck. But I needed my hooks up 2" for the Denali bumper and it worked great.

The only visible difference is that hooks stick out a tad (1/2" to 1") further than stock - but only sharp-eyed GM fans would notice.
