My long awaited gauges cam last night - ISPRO Pre-Turbo EGT, Boost, and Tran Temp.
Couple of questions:
1) The trans temp and EGT both have external 'drivers' or amplifiers. What's the best location to mount these, in the cab or in the engine compartment?
2) Using the A-Pillar Pod on my '94, it is a real PITA to get the guages connected. Especially the EGT and trans temp, because of the connectors. Likewise, feeding the wiring harness up along the pillar iss going to be another PITA.

If have the ISSPRO EGT and boost gauges. I installed the amp/driver under the dash. I ty-wrapped the module to some A/C ducts. Its been like that for over 2 years without any issues.
Good luck.

Thanks. After looking at it, I may fab a plate and attach the driver modules to the plate and fasten it under the dash - somewhere.

I don't think you can go wrong putting it in the cab. The module looks sealed, but doesn't hurt to be extra cautious.

How did you manage to get the wires in between the OEM A-pillar and the aftermarket A-piller? On my '94 I have a whole 'wad of wire' that have to go up - EGT harness, Trans temp harness, +/- for lights, and boost tube.

I ran the wires between the factory "A" pillar cover and the "A" pillar (cab support). I drilled a hole in the factory "A" pillar cover and ran the wired through that hole and then to the gauges. There isn't much space between the factory cover and the aftermarket.
Let me know if this makes sense.

Makes sense to me. After looking at it for quite some time last night, I decided that if I could notch the factory A-pillar, I should be able to get all of the wires up to the guages.
Not sure how others do it, but ISSPRO uses a short pigtail off the EGT and Trans Temp guages, with a 4-pin coupler. Tucking the couplers in and eliminating some of the bulk is the tough part. Plus I have a home-made harness for the lights - essentially a long wire with 3 pigtails off of it for the gauge connections. Multiply this by 2, as there's one for the lamp ground and power. In total 10, 18ga wires and boost tube have to ge between factory and gauge pod A-pillars.
