I need some advice, My wifes 2001 impala's A/C stoped working. The clutch
on the compressor would not engauge because the relay that controles it would not pick.
After tracing all of the wires and hooking it up to a ODB II scanner, I found that the Body Control Modual was bad. I replaced the BCM and the A/C Worked.
The problem I am having now is the raido comes up with the word LOCKED and the fog lights do not work and there is an air bag light on the dash.
I belive that I have to program this BCM, but I do not know how. I looked in the scanner and it did not give you an option to send part of the vin number to the BCM. How do I do this????

No, the scanner I used was a genesis. A friend has the snap on.

Has to be done with a Tech II. Only other problem, once its on the car for so long, it will lock itself and you will not be able to set the vin and the options.
