What are the tool recommendations for non-stock oversize wheels if you get a flat on the road?
12v compressor - what type?
Plug kit?
??
I know this has been discussed in the past, just want to see what is current today.

For my own truck, I have the factory spare but have 33" tires. So if I do need to use the spare, I will put it on the front and drive slowly until I can get somewhere to have the 33" fixed or replaced.
If it is a slow leak, then a portable compressor would help get you along until that slow leak can be fixed. Of course, I would recommend the VIAIR compressors. :thumb:

Why would you recommend VIAIR? LOL:rolleyes: , I have had 2 Viair Compressors and never had a problem in 300,000 miles on 2 trucks , their the Best!!!!! Great to have air when you have a slow leak rather than ruining a tire.

IMO the best of the best is an Oasis Compressor. The CFM blows VIAIR out of the water. I had 2 450's and my oasis fills my 2 10gal tanks in a 1/4 of the time. A little pricey but good. I don't even need tanks anymore. U can hook up an impact and run it right off the compressor. I wouldn't recommend doing it all the time but in a jam it works great.

The Oasis may put out more CFM than two VIAIR's, but also pulls way more amps at the same time and costs far more. It all depends on what works best in your certain application. The Oasis is a great unit for some applications where you must have high CFM over a short span of time. For everything else, there is VIAIR.
